GOAL of Podcast: The evolution of security technologies is relatively easy to follow. When a new security technology is introduced it is not difficult to follow the life cycle of success and failures of that technology. This is not the case with social engineering. So we have collected the brightest and best minds in this field together to discuss where social engineering came from and what the future of social engineering holds.

Sharon Conheady is a director at First Defense Information Security in the UK where she specializes in social engineering. She has social engineered her way into dozens of organizations across the UK and abroad, including company offices, sports stadiums, government facilities and more. Sharon will be be giving a training course in social engineering testing at Brucon in September.
Chris Nickerson is a professional Red Team Tester. He also Co-Hosts the Exotic Liability podcast and soon will be releasing Red Team Book.

Carlos Perez is a Security Solution Architect and Consultant for a Multi National IT company. Carlos also does a lot of Metasploit Developer and is a member of the PaulDotCom Security Weekly Podcast.
Johnny Long has spent his career as a professional hacker. He is the author of numerous security books including No-Tech Hacking, A Guide to Social Engineering, Dumpster Diving, and Shoulder Surfing. Currently residing in Uganda, East Africa, Johnny’s now focused on his work with Hackers for Charity. HFC is a non-profit organization that leverages the skills of technologists. They solve technology challenges for various non-profits and provide food, equipment, job training and 
computer education to the world’s poorest citizens.
